ORLANDO
About 20–25 Minutes to Walt Disney World
Rideshare runs $35–55 one-way. Mears Connect shuttles and hotel-arranged transportation are also common. Most on-property Disney resorts no longer offer a free airport shuttle.
Free If You Stay On-Property
The monorail connects Magic Kingdom, EPCOT, and the Magic Kingdom-area resorts (including the Grand Floridian and Contemporary). The Disney Skyliner gondola connects Hollywood Studios, EPCOT, and several other resorts.
Worth It for Universal + Disney Combo Trips
If you're splitting time between Universal Orlando and Walt Disney World, a rental car (or consistent rideshare budget) makes the roughly 20-minute drive between them far easier than relying on hotel shuttles.

SNA Is Closer, LAX Is Cheaper to Fly Into
John Wayne Airport is about a 20-minute drive to the Disneyland Resort; LAX is closer to an hour but often has significantly cheaper flights. Factor a rideshare or shuttle cost into the comparison.
The Disneyland Resort Is Fully Walkable
Unlike Walt Disney World's sprawling property, the three Disneyland-area hotels, both parks, and Downtown Disney are all within a 5–15 minute walk of each other — no monorail or shuttle required.
